Product Description
Europe Design and Configuration Cheap Lab Equipment Lab Fume Hood.
Products Description:
Structure:
Made of thickness ≥1.2mm cold-rolled steel steel for the out layer, steel surface treated by acid-alkali-resistant and coated with epoxy resin powder. The inner layer is the anti-corrosion material.
Lining:
Lined with 5mm thick compact board (chemical resistant), segmented design, air flow pressure is maintained smoothly by teardrop-shaped baffle in accordance with aerodynamic principles.
Working surface:
Covered epoxy resin countertops or ceramic worktops with thickness ≥19mm, and the outer edge of not less than 25mm. The recessed 5mm inside disc design will collect splashes things. With high performance of anti-heat, chemical resistant.
Visual Windows:
Use 5mm tempered explosion-proof glass. lnternal uses of pituitary balancing device, can stay in any position during 0~900mm. Closure equipped with a rubber buffer.
Lighting:
Equipped with two (15W) LED energy-saving lamp. Lamp mounted on the top of hood and quarantined by the steam-proof glass cover inside the fume hood.
Transmission:
Windows Transmission system consists of a metal sprocket, plactis chains, synchronizing shafts and other devices. Balancing system prevents sash tilting and can be one- hand controlled
Selection of the proper type of fume hood to use in a laboratory should be based upon two interrelated considerations:
2. The need to reduce air conditioning cost.
The interior of the Penway`s hood resists the corrosive effects of chemicals. The hood under structure should provide for storage of the required chemicals for the work being done in the hood. The total cost of a hood is greatly affected by its exhaust air requirements. The annual cost of heating and cooling the air exhausted by the hood can be as high as the initial cost of the hood itself. Choosing the proper hood type and sash configuration can significantly reduce these costs.
High Performance Fume Hoods
Penway High-Performance/Low-Flow Fume Hoods
Compared to most traditional fume hoods, these high performance, low flow hoods are safer, have lower installation costs, and are up to 50% less expensive in operating costs. We have designed and installed fume hoods in labs around the world.
High performance fume hoods has a series of design features to provide unsurpassed containment and operator protection:
1:Engineered baffle system provides proper air distribution
2:Constant air velocity (variable air volume) reduces energy use relative to sash position
3:Rounded corners at hood entrance reduce turbulence, improving efficiency
4:Aerodynamic sash pull
5:Containment trough with directional vanes and white Plascote finish adds durability and chemical resistance
6:Cord pass-through lets sash fully close without appliance cords getting in the way
7:Lower entrance safety bar provides a personal safety barrier 880mm high viewing area
8:White ResChem interior with vapor-proof fluorescent light.
9:458mm vertical opening with keyed sash stop to access 685mm set-up position
10:Double-wall construction for installation of plumbing and electrical service fixtures.
Advantages of High Performance Chemical Fume Hoods:
1:Engineered to exhaust 50% less conditioned air from the laboratory
2:Designed to capture fumes while working in today's modern laboratories with varying factors such as lab traffic, fluctuating temperatures and interior hood loading
3:Fume capture and containment can be demonstrated with tracer gas testing
5:Standard, available for all new chemical fume hood installations
6:Quiet operation
7:Low airflow provides an ideal environment for working with powders and delicate work.
Low-flow/high-performance hoods use substantially less energy to operate over the lifetime of the fume hood exhaust system. Visit Laboratory Fume Hood Energy Model to calculate your energy needs.
Penway has our own HVAC engineers to design the lab fume hood ventilation. From lab ventilation designs to construction, until system test and accept of work. Penway can provide one-stop service to customer.
